A Brief History of Maitland & Company, a Vancouver Law Firm
The roots of our law firm can be traced back nearly 100 years, through three generations of the Maitland family who practised law in British Columbia.
The current incarnation of the firm was established on October 1, 1976, by Robert R. Maitland (d. November 5, 1976), Brian A. Mason and Ross C. McCutcheon. Since then, our team of lawyers has expanded to a total of six. As a member of MSI Global Alliance, an international association of more than 250 independent legal and accounting firms located in more than 100 countries, we are able to offer local expertise in virtually all markets in which our clients become involved.

Each of our partners has more than 25 years of experience within their areas of speciality.
